Arabian Ranches

The international rule of thumb for money saving housing is to move further away from the center.

Dubai might be breaking a lot of conventions, but that one golden rule of real estate still applies. Sort of. Arabian Ranches is rather off-center, but not quite so disconnected. Spacious, beautiful, luxurious, and happy are the words we’d use to describe it. Yes, it’s not in Downtown or the Marina, and it definitely is a world of its own —in the best of ways.

A quiet, almost majestic residential gated community situated on Emirates Road, the development offers homes of 2 to 5 bedroom villas and townhouses in a space that includes a golf course, the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, and a community shopping center that might as well be a full-fledged mall with great eateries.

Also: the equestrian club, home to the city’s polo club, is abuzz with picnics and social gatherings throughout polo season. The golf course is the region’s premier desert-style grass golf course, and is a fantastic place to relax, even if you haven’t played before. The Jumeirah English Speaking School, one of Dubai’s most respected and an International Baccalaureate School, is also within the Ranches.

The project as a whole is separated into smaller, gated sub-communities:

  • Saheel, the contemporary oasis in the desert
  • Savannah, the most luxurious of the bunch
  • Mirador, the Spanish style villas
  • Al Mahra, exquisite Arabic style right by the golf course
  • Terra Nova, the Santa Fe allure with terraces flowing into the golf course
  • Hattan, the luxury detached homes borrowed from their successful siblings at The Lakes
  • Alvorada, the relaxed and friendly Portuguese homes with terra-cotta roofs
  • La Avenida, the newest Spanish and Portuguese villas
  • Palmera, Al Reem (Gazelle), and Alma, the finishing touches to an otherwise exquisite series of villas and townhouses that expands on the portfolio of sophisticated living at Arabian Ranches.
